 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

ATTENTION...this is a courtesy post for Lifesavers Rescue in Yakima, WA. Please email them as they have this dog. This very unique looking girl is MELLO. She is black with some tan on her legs and a white spot on her chest. MELLO is around 1 1/2 years old. She is about 20" tall and weighs 44#. This is what her foster mother has to say about her... "She’s one of those dog you like instantly!!!! She is SO calm and quiet all of the time. Very well behaved and just as gentle as she can be. She doesn't pay any attention to my indoor cats or the other dogs. Her focus seems to be on humans. She never leaves my side. She doesn't fetch, chase balls or play with toys. I think if she was the only dog in the home she would be very happy and trainable. Terriers are so good at doing tricks and having fun. The family that had her has little kids and she liked it when they were loving on her. She does have a tendency to want to jump up, so toddler aged kids might get knocked over if they weren’t being watched. She, also, wants to climb in your lap. The first night she did jump on my bed and sleep. Last night I made her stay off and she curled up on dog bed close to my bed and was quiet all night. She does good on a leash and, so far, has not had any accidents inside. She isn't food aggressive, but will wolf down the food from one bowl and go to all of them if you don’t keep an eye on her. I've been feeding her outside so my other dogs get a chance to eat. This is usually the sign of a dog who had gone through some starvation at one time". Mello is a fun and very loving dog for about any type of family. A fenced yard is MANDATORY!! She has been spayed, micro-chipped and wormed and vaccinated.
