 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

Latte is an adorable, tiny guy who looks a perfect mix of Papillon x Chihuahua. He is sweet, lovable and just a doll.  He's very small and doesn't appreciate toddler energy.  This was why he lost one of his homes in the past.  He likes respectful children though.  He's good with dogs and cats.  He is a bit guarded at first with larger dogs, a normal reaction for very small dogs.  He's crate trained and keeps his crate clean.  

He came to us with quite a bit of history with regards to his health.  He is healthy but has a few requirements to stay that way.  He is food sensitive and what works for him is Merrick Salmon Grain Free.  It's a higher meat diet so that's likely the difference from other grain free salmon foods on the market.  He is good with the duck treats from Costco as well.  
He was bounced a bit in his short life so far, so it's our goal to make sure his next home is his forever home.  His new home should realize that a 5 pound dog will require diligent dental care for his whole life.  It's not cheap but is necessary.  The last shelter he was in tried to neuter him and he nearly died on the table.  That's when we stepped in and rescued him.  Our vets were sent the anesthesia records and used something different.  He did great and this information will be sent to his adopter's vet so they know what protocol was used to safely do his dentals under anesthesia in the future.
