 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

She is a Boston Terrier and a nice, gentle dog. She was born 5-2006. ZENDRA weighs about 24# so she is the larger size Boston. ZENDRA is a 'little' chunky now and would benefit from some daily exercise such as walking, to help her regain her girlish figure again :o) She had a litter of pups not too long ago and still has that darn ol baby fat. She thinks walking with her human is the best thing in the world and would give you an incentive to go for daily outings. ZENDRA loves attention, enjoys sitting next to her humans on the couch and being kept warm. She is a typical VERY sweet and loving Boston. She gets along well with other dogs .You can tell what kind of personality she has just by looking at her kind face. I SO love this breed of dog!! ZENDRA was raised as a breeder dog and was isolated against humans. She was originally raised in a puppy mill for about one year and didn't get the proper socialization in her early years. Once ZENDRA does know and trust a person she warms up and wants to be with them. ZENDRA is VERY kind, has a passive personality and I have never heard her growl or bark. She does well on car rides after knowing that it is OK to be going in the car. She is housebroke to a pet door and will go out and come in through it. ZENDRA is crate trained to sleep in a crate at night. She needs a patient, caring and good pack leader person to continue working with her. She needs to "experience" life to become a well balanced adult dog. Daily walking and also attending obedience classes would really help bring ZENDRA out of her shell. She is so worth the time it will take for her to relax, settle in and be a loving companion. She would make a great pet for a single person or a couple. She has been around young children visiting in the home but with her shyness at this time, older children would be the best, if there were children in the home. Boston's are very clean, funny, need someone who won't let them get away with any naughty behavior and are generally delightful pets. A fenced yard is mandatory for her safety. ZENDRA is spayed... is current with vaccines and will be micro chipped before adoption takes place. There is a $150 adoption donation for ZENDRA.
