ATTENTION....this dog is with Lifesavers Rescue in YAKIMA, WA. Please email them. She is located in Yakima.
This is SUGAR and she is just like her name.....a sweet sweet girl. She weighs about 8 pounds is all.
She has a soft and very thin hair coat so won't shed and would be good with people who have allergies.
SUGAR is about 2 years old.She was raised in a home with a 5 year old but I am wanting a home with no children under the age of about 8 since she is such a small, tiny boned dog.
She belonged to a family who let her have pups and they gave the pups away and dumped her in a relative's back yard one morning...still having been nursing her pups....but the pups were all given to someone this is all the information I can get. SUGAR will get over losing her pups too soon, and will go on with her life. She cannot be spayed until her milk glands have dried up and she has put on some weight. The appointment is for 12-13.
SUGAR looks like she has some Chinese Crested breeding in her due to her very thin hair coat, her head and ear shape. She also has the short legs and texture of hair and black pads and nose like a Maltese. These little Crested are awesome dogs and make wonderful companions. SUGAR appears to be house trained as she comes to us and goes in circles when she wants outside.
She is also now using the pet door to go out.
SUGAR is with other dogs and does great with them and is a friend to all.
SUGAR loves to sleep with me and to sit on my lap. She gets cold very easily so needs a warm lap and a warm bed to have.
She has been given one vaccine and been wormed.
It would be best if there was someone home at least part of the day to be with her. She loves being with people.
There is a $150 adoption donation for SUGAR. FOR ADOPTION APPLICATION PLEASE EMAIL: lifesaversrescue@live.com
