 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

He is a mixed breed, delightful, nicely colored and short legged puppy. His mother is ShihTzu MIX and the father is unknown but definitely a small, short legged dog like the Mother is. I truly don't know what mix breed he is other than the mother being part Shih and I listed Dachshund on the father only due to SONNY'S short legs and hair coat color. SONNY'S mother, who was very pregnant, was a stray taken in by a family who knew she needed a safe place to have her puppies. But as they got older the family didn't have a fenced yard and they couldn't keep them all safe. SONNY and his 3 sisters were born on 1-11-2012 so are now 8 weeks old. They will be ready for adoption around 3-23. They need to be with each other and their mother to learn about life, playing manners, to share and to be independent playful little ones. Since SONNY is so young and so small there cannot be young children in the home. Small children and small puppies are not a good combination for the safety of both. Please understand. SONNY will need to go into a home where there is a secure fenced yard. Because he is way too young to be neutered a prepaid neuter receipt is required from your local veterinarian at time of adoption. There is a $125 adoption donation for SONNY.
