About Mia

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes
Attention...this dog is located in Yakima, WA., with Lifesavers Rescue. Please contact them at...lifesaversrescue@live.com This tiny and dainty little girl is MIA. She looks to be an Imperial ShihTzu possible mix as she doesn’t have the real flat face. She weighs only 6# and probably a pound of that is her soft silky hair coat. She is about 10 months of age. MIA has spent much of her life on the front porch of a home at the end of a heavy rope. She was purchased as a pup for a young child who lost interest in the pup after about a week, so on the rope she went. She would cry and cry for someone to pay attention to her but to no avail. We always wonder in rescue why people who have these dogs keep them. MIA has now been given freedom and all the room to run around in she wants. She comes inside and gets lots of hugs, kisses and told what a beautiful lady she is. She is a quiet, pleasant girl and so so pretty. MIA is good with other small dogs and would probably be great with cats. Because she is so small there cannot be little children in the home. Many tiny dogs are injured accidently in play with young children. Please understand. A fenced yard is MANDATORY for her safety. When these little fluffy dogs are outside in an unfenced yard a prey driven dog passing by can easily and quickly run into the yard thinking the dog is a rabbit, squirrel of cat...and they go for the kill. MIA will be spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and de-wormed upon adoption. There is a $225 adoption donation for her. FOR ADOPTION APPLICATION PLEASE EMAIL....lifesaversrescue@live.com PLEASE do not email Collar of Hope
