Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.

Heidi is the sweetest, social, lovable young girl and deserves the very best life can offer her!

Heidi has a grade 6 heart murmur and has seen a cardiologist.  The diagnosis was not what we were hoping for (we've had 2 dogs with grade 6 murmurs surgically repaired successfully and that was our hope for Heidi).
Heidi has 3 defects within her heart.  A pin hole in her aorta (not life threatening), stenosis (repairable with surgery) and a defective aorta valve. The aorta valve is the malady that cannot be repaired or fixed at all.  It requires replacement and that's not an option in the veterinarian world.
What does this mean?  She will not have a long life and will go into cardiac arrest (heart attack) at some point.  There is zero way to know when this will happen but it will happen.

So our wish for her now is to be adopted or hospiced by someone who will love her dearly, give her a full life and maybe make a bucket list for her.
She will get everything we can give her while in foster care but there is nothing better than a home of her own to get ALL the love and attention!

The one consideration is no male dogs in the home please.  She cannot be spayed or undergo any surgeries.  Even if males are neutered, they can be responsive to a girl in heat (if she even does go into heat).

She is small so no doggie doors or young children please.

We know her Angel is out there!
