Darling little Marilyn or as her foster Mom calls her Betty White, is finally ready for a wonderful home to call her own. Her backstory is awful and sad but her future is good and bright now!
She lived in a backyard her whole life. When she was finally rescued, she was full of fleas and ticks along with both eyes infected. She was tested and had 2 tick born diseases. That was addressed first and she got the all clear. Meanwhile she was on eye meds to clear up the infection in her eyes. She has dry eye so needs daily meds for the rest of her life. The medication comes from a compound pharmacy (can be mailed to the home) and costs $58. Please note this on your application that you are good with this cost and giving her the eye medication.
She is otherwise very healthy now. We spayed her and had a dental done. She only lost 2 teeth so her mouth is in great shape too.
She's been shy about being picked up, just flattens to the ground at first. But she loves attention and loving. She will sit on a lap and melt into it loving it. She's craved someone to love her, it's plain to see, but her past family didn't care to show her any compassion.
