Brooks is an initially shy but sweet young boy who's looking for a kind and patient new family. He is timid initially. He arrived very thin and with several other dogs from the same home. He tends to let other dogs boss him around so we want him to not live like that anymore. He is good with other dogs so kind dogs would be fine. With some patience and kindness, he will surely blossom into your new best friend. He just needs someone to give him a chance. We are not sure of his breed mix but he looks like a basenji mix. He does not display the common basenji quirks though.
Update: Brooks has become a little love bug. He is becoming more outgoing and even playful. He just needs someone to give him a little time to get to know you and bond is all.
