RHEA is a super sweet and fun loving girl!  She gets along with the dogs she's met so far and likes to play with them.  (But with the small ones, she can be too rough.)   She's getting used to life in a house and seems to enjoy it.  She can have some energy and run zoomies around the yard like the best of them, but she can also relax in a house.  She likes to play in water and roll around in the grass.  She's very affectionate with her foster family and tries to get into their laps.  She won't turn down a tummy rub!   If she's adopted out to a family with other dogs, they must not be hyper or over the top in energy as she has an old break in her ankle.  She also is NOT going to be a long distance hiker or jogger because of this injury.  Maybe a short stroll around the block or to the mailbox.  So NO throwing balls for her.  If she runs around on her own, that's one thing.  She should not have a lot of stairs in her new home.  RHEA gets around fine with this injury, but we're thinking of her future as well.   If you're looking for a nice dog to be your buddy, maybe RHEA's that girl!  (She does prefer women to men, but she's warming up to the men in the home!)   We don't know how her leg was broken, but it may have been entanglement of a tie out line or done by a man as she is very guarded with men she doesn't know.  She would do best in a home without a lot of people in and out.  Preferably a quiet/low key home.  She is being adopted out as a special needs dog due to her old injury.
