Dottie came to us with several family members and 3 young babies.  They ran their property and a couple of dogs turned into 10 in short time with none being altered.
Due to this lifestyle, they were all a bit behind the curve receiving no vet care nor any training.  Her family should be onboard with catching her up to being a pampered, loved, house dog.  She LOVES being with her people, has pretty good house manners and is fairly active (she is a terrier mix after all). She absolutely hates being crated also so her ideal home will have someone around to help her transition to life in a home without necessarily having to crate her or not too often (recommended if no one is home).
She was adopted and returned due to not liking a male family member who came to visit often though she was fine with the teenage boy in the home.  So she definitely does best with women and older children.  We still aren't sure if it was an issue with just that man or if she's just not receptive to most men.  However, she takes a stern NO well when needed.
If you think you have a great life to offer Dottie, please submit our adoption application to get the process started.
