Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.
CRUZ is a gorgeous, jet black boy and we're not quite sure what his breed mix is. He has a short tail but we don't know if it was docked or if it's natural. He almost looks like a long haired dachshund mix or a spaniel mix. He is very timid and shy with new situations so he'll need a patient and experienced home to get him comfortable for the first week or so is all, once acclimated, he's done well. He can be barky so be sure you are ok with that! Make sure you have time and patience to work with him. He is good with other dogs but doesn't like to play wrestle with them, just hanging out mostly. The younger playful ones irritate him but he handles it well.
No young kids, if any, and a securely fenced yard is mandatory to keep him safe, he is a door dasher. So not a candidate for apartment life.
