RHYAN is a darling, sweet but shy and timid little girl. She came from a hoarder so needed to learn some things when she arrived and she's doing fantastic! Her new family needs to have patience with her as she acclimates to her new home and they must be willing to continue with her training like potty training and leash work. She is doing great not pottying in the house with regular outtings and will always use a potty pad in a pinch. It took her about 5 days before she started to follow her foster brothers outside and had to be carried out the first few days. She still won't walk on leash as it seems to be more difficult for shy dogs so her new home MUST have a securely fenced yard to keep her safe (a fence that a smaller dog cannot escape from). She's a dog that really needs a buddy to play with, follow their leads and be a companion with. It was about 3 weeks into her foster home that she started doing zoomies and running around with her foster brothers and what a joy it is to see. She also smiles a lot and it's so cute!!!
Her new family needs to be able to gently encourage her but allow her the time like her foster has, to acclimate to her new home.
