 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.

 This guy is a gorgeous hair dog mix.  We aren't sure of his breeds but poodle mixed with something, maybe yorkie?  He's a shy guy who has all the signs of having lived in a backyard before landing in a shelter and CoH taking him in.  His fur was a mess and looked like our groomer gave him his first ever grooming.  You MUST have a professional groomer onboard if applying to adopt this guy and be able and willing to keep him properly groomed for his whole life.  Please add your groomers phone number to the personal references on the application.  
He is learning to walk on leash but not great yet so apartment or unfenced yards is not an option for Archie at this time.  He is very shy of doorways (another sign he was banished to a backyard) so he needs someone patient and willing to show him the way.  We are working on housetraining but that will need to continue with his new family.  Archie is not very old so PLEASE insure that you can offer him a LIFELONG home as he can easily live 15 more years.  
This guy is so sweet, a bit shy at first and deserves the best life ever moving forward.  Oh and he loves playing chase with his foster Mom's young little dog!  And he is respectful of their older boy.
