Thor just turned 3 years old.  He's gained 25 pounds since arriving as he was very skinny from lack of enough to eat in his past life.  He is a sweet, goofy type with above average energy for a dane.  He has a tad bit of a stubborn streak at times but is easily reeled back in.
Due to his lack of food previously, he needs to be fed separately from other dogs or at least supervised so another dog does not try to investigate what's in his bowl.  He is fine with people in his bowl though.  He's great with female dogs and smaller dogs of either gender and any size. He likes to show he's the boss of larger breed male dogs but he's been easy to get him off that train of though.
His ideal home has Great Dane knowledge,  someone around to acclimate him into a new home, and able to take proper care of him for the rest of his life.  He's a rare guy in that he loves to open up and run property too so a decent yard for him would be ideal.  He's not great on leash yet so was probably never taken on walks so leash work needs to continue with his new family.
